Short hunt finds, gold pocket watch after cleaning

I only had about 1 hour to kill yesterday so I went to a spot that will soon be developed. I also finally got around to cleaning the gold pocket watch I dug a few days ago, it turned out pretty nice. Tsgman

A friend of mine found a silver watch similar to the one you have. He did some reserrch on the troops involved where he found it, and acquire a picture of someone involved. Printed that pic in cepia, age crakked it, and put it in the face of the watch. Makes a fine display piece. You may want to enhance you cleaning with aluminum jelly available at Lowes.

Ts, thats more than a home run, that is a grand slam, way to go, awesome finds!!! CONGRATS
thanks for sharing
