Short hunt close to home......

Got permission on an old farm just two miles from my house. I hunted just over two hours. I got a sweet 1905 Indian, $2.32 in clad, some dog tags, some misc, and something well known here in MI. A Petoskey stone ( fossilized rugose coral ). What's interesting is most of these are found in a part of Lake MI 260 miles north of me. I do know a guy not far from me that found several while digging a pond on his property. A true Michigan treasure.

That is one of the nicest Indians I've seen. True coin collectors would call the green environmental damage but I like them green better then brown. Same with all coppers. Not sure why I do but I do

That Petoskey stone is really cool. The IH looks to be in great shape...nice finds!
