Short evening hunt in the bullet patch....

My Buddy and I went back to the bullet patch this evening and my last target was this intact Burnside round.
I have found some others here with part of the case still attached, but this is the first intact one so far.
It was the only bullet found between us and it was the last target I dug before calling it quits.

When you’re saying intact are you saying the lower part is the “casing” (so to speak) or the shank or base of the bullet? This is out of my wheelhouse here….

The bullet and case are still intact… one piece… I have been finding only the bullet or some bullets with remnants of the case still attached, but this one is still all one piece and complete.
This is a photo of the complete round like I found.
