Short after dinner hunt

I hope all have had a Wonderful Thanksgiving Day . The weather was actually pretty
nice here in Indiana , so after all had eaten and left I hit the woods to relax. I ventured
back to the spot I had dug my last IH , had a very nice hunt , I almost found my 2 cents
worth . A 1969 cent and my second squished penny this year , I can faintly see
Lincolns head . A brass compact, Boy that one nearly blew out my ear drums , the Prizm
makes a loud honk , like a rapid goose over a large target . And a small lead bird , A very
nice way to end A beautiful Thanksgiving Day , Thanks for looking and HH .

Hope your Thanksgiving was good. Nice to sneak out and relax, I'm sure. Plus getting rid of all that turkey can't hurt either;) Going out Saturday, if I can think of a place to go. See ya. HH

Nice quick hunt. Sometimes those are the best kind, find a few things and not get tired at all.

You must be near a RR track, I'd hate to know how many of them squashed pennies are beside the tracks near my hometown elementary school.

Congrats on the hunt Terri! I really like the bird and compact! What a nice quick hunt, good work, Beale.

hi echostar, i think you had a good lil hunt going on! the old brass compact is cool, and so is the "squished" cent! anytime you can get out and away from everything is good. i'll imagine the old compact did blow up your headphones! hh,

some huntin' in. This thanksgiving was different for me... being it was the first without my mom. I made the turkey...my first time doing so...then took it to my Dad's . My daughter also made the trip back from college....so it was nice. Take care

Thanks Bryce . I am glad you had a Nice Thanksgiving with your dad and daughter .
The first holidays without our loved ones are the worst , but they will always be with
us in our hearts . And I bet ya , your mom is so proud of you for cooking a turkey ,
Gee , so am I , I have never cooked one myself , I do ham both holidays

Terri

Thanks for looking guys , I was a bit disappointed the old compact was empty,
had visions of injuns inside , oh well , I can dream . Tarn x does
wonders on old brass, it had an inner lid which fell off and I forgot to put back on,
It says Volupte USA . I do live close to a long abandonded RR track , no telling
how many smashed pennies will be near . Another decent day here , either gonna
hit the woods again or put up some christmas lights...anything but shop
Thanks Again and HH

Terri
