Was hunting a rental property a friend had bought didn't look that old but 2 Indians showed up. Did find a silver ring came in at 12.17 would not of dug this at the fairgrounds to many pull tabs there .The Indians were only 2 inches deep :O but the dimes were 6 inches go figure never know hopefully well be getting out for a whole day soon . Hope you guys got out . sube

Nice Sube! I hardly got out all weekend, but I have today off so hopefully I can find a nice coin or two...

12 17 sure is odd for silver, is it still reading that now that it's is out of the ground?

Good finds, it is always fascinating how those older coins sometimes are more shallow than the newer...no rhyme nor reason about that it seems. Good hunt!

I got a feeling you could metal detect concrete and find old coins. verywell done.

Nice pile for a couple of hours.

GK yes still reads 12.17 out of ground it has a crack all the way through it hard to see in the pic . If I hold it tight together it comes in at 12.42 . sube
