Shooter 4x6 makes its first real find

I took the 4x6 coil out for its first real run this morning. I ran in TX Boost with sensitivity at 12 and disc at 85 using the coin program. Found a 1966 quarter, a 60's penny and a 1903 Indian Head in EF condition apart from some pitting right over the Indian's face: Liberty on the head band is clearly legible as are the leaves and horizontal bands on the wreath and shield respectively. It was about 9" deep.

The problem with Indian Heads is they VDI like zinc pennies (mid 50's) and the VDI tends to jump around a bit - perhaps because of the depth.

This is my second Indian in two weeks! Both from the same site. Oddly enough, only one silver coin has been found there. I expect it's been detected before...

My dry spell is over... :bouncy:

Good find on the IH. That is a hard one for me to find-VDI-50s I dont tend to stop for those # :-(

But I might if I get a DEEP signal.
