:shocked:F5 Gain drops?

Dailydigger

New member
A few time today during a hunt i noticed that the gain would drop by itself. The gain would be at 60 then after pinpointing it would be at 20-25? I thought I was spinning the knob with my thumb while I was pinpointing but that wasent the case any ideas?

That gain window kinda jumps around from gain to ground balance to disc. setting. So maybe instead of gain you saw GB or disc.

If any of your settings change after using the pinpoint feature, and you are positive you are not touching the dial, then you got a problem and your detector needs a trip to the doctor for fixing.

Confirm that you are not touching the dial, then call Fisher for service.
