Wanted to know what's the preferred carrier for shipping detectors nowadays? I use to use priority mail for about $20, went to send a detector out recently and now they wanted almost $40. I ended up sending it parcel select for $17 they said it would take 6 to 8 days, been 12 days still not delivered. I'm getting a bad feeling about this, never had any problems with priority shipping. Is FedEx or UPS better and/or cheaper?

I shipped my detector by UPS and never had any problems when it needed to be repaired....Hope all works out okay and it is just delayed by the postal service delivery! God Bless! Betty

Not sure about the others, but I ship my stuff from USPS.
God bless.

I often ship swords, magic props, and other items.

Have had bad luck with UPS and their rough handling, but very good luck and quicker delivery times with Fedex.

Thanks for the feedback. I think USPS Priority is alright for small items, but thier parcel post is something else next time I ship a package I'll try UPS or FedEx. Also the tracking for USPS is nothing compared to the others, only shows when it's accepted and delivered nothing in between.
