Shipping Advice

For any of you out there who have sold or traded a detector, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to ship a detector WITHOUT having the original shipping box.

i have recieved a detector in the mail which did not have original box....the man shipped it in a box 3 feet high by 1 foot square....the sensetive electronics were wrapped in bubble wrap and the rest of the box had those styrofoam peanuts packed to the top.....ends of box were sealed with shipping tape....package arrived safe and sound....

I've shipped probably 50 detectors and most were not in their original box. Never had one get messed up either. As bootyhoundpa said above, wrap the control box/meter in bubble wrap and fill the box with packing peanuts.
