Shipped BH 505

Well I called the guy that I bought a BH 505 and a 4" coil from and he told me that he had shipped it today. I should get it in the next couple of days, I can't wait, I feel like a little kid waiting for summer vacation or something. I hope that my $130.00 investment will pay off, I'm sure it will I have heard good things about this model. It is little over $300.00 from Kelly co. The 505 like I said I have only heard good things. So until it gets here I will dream of 505's dancing in my head and big deep silver coin finds.

Whenever I buy off the net, or anything not in person and being shipped to me, I ALWAYS use Paypal (you can get your money back if you do not get your item), and I make sure I get a Delivery Confirmation number from the seller BEFORE it is shipped...I will pay the extra for it too...This way, I am fully covered...
I know you will like the 505...it was a great little machine when I had it, but I HAD to upgrade to the Land Star, because the salt in the ground here reaks havok with detectors and manual ground balance is a MUST...This is why I find more with the White's (GB works in all modes), than the Land Star (GB works in ALL-Metals only)...I found many a coin with the 505.

HH,

I did pay with Pay Pal, my soil here in Michigan is really good, a detectors dream. I have never heard of a issue from my other huntin buddies about this. I have asked.

Consider yourself lucky...I live in a city area, and the trash and mineralization are hotrrible...The spots I hunt regularly I have learned the secrets of pulling the goodies out of the trash, but when I go to new areas, I have to pick trash before I can get the good stuff...

HH,

I live in the Tawas / Oscoda area, I live in Hale to be exact. If you ever come up this way drop a line and we will set something up.

I was up there,by oscoda , for the labor day weekend. Went through Hale. Have you detected the schools in the near by towns. Few yrs ago me and a friend did a short hunt in twining and whittemore schools.
While I was there (this weekend) I detected a friend of mine's cottage. Found 16 wheats and a 1927-d Merc. Seems if you could get permission for some of these older cottages you would do well. There are allot.

I normally dont name specific locations on these forums, since we have here. Don't give any finds to a certain location, keep it general. Might have :twodetecting: :detecting: everywhere. Just never know.

My son and I MD a couple of places here in hale. We do really well, the area is rich in logging history and I have found several old mills and places of such. Now the hard part is to get the permission.

Well, If the guy shipped your detector Priority, which he should have with it's size, you should see it on your doorstep tommorow, or Friday (because of Holiday)...
