Shiloh Hunt....

Most of the areas that we hunted had high grass/weeds and the other clear areas had been hunted heavily... Most of the buck n balls were not all that deep but in disc. they could have been easily missed (we hunted in AM) Most of the targets had been missed by other detectorist and most were "bumps" in the audio... Pretty good hunt over all and got a break from work... BTW, I used a T-2 and my buddy used and F-75... I hate to say this but they seemed to be evenly matched in all metal... the 4 button are all plain Eagle buttons, nice carved round ball, carved chess piece ? Best to all, Richard

Just curious if you two actually compared the two detectors over the same targets? I have, and while the depth of detection seemed virtually identical, I saw that the F-75 would show target ID (while both in AM as well as Disc mode too for that matter) at a greater depth. Did you see the same thing?

Brad, In all honesty, the comparison was only done in All Metal...we never hunt in discrimination when relic hunting.... I love the T-2, it is an excellent machine but I just traded the T-2 last night for my old F-75 back... In the disc. mode, I don't think that the T-2 can match the F-75 in JE mode..... the T-2 is just more docile in disc. and as a rule of thumb that usually implies less gain on sens. sorry I could n't help more..Richard
