She's not petty but this makes 8 seated for the year.....

Earlier in the week, Hit an old site that gave me an 1854 seated 1/2 dime three weeks ago. Last time the rain shut us out and this week I managed to squeeze in about 2 hours.

Some gun slinger shot old lady liberty in the back with the bullet exiting from her gut, it's either Variety 2 or 3 with stars on Obverse 1838-1860, I may be able to peel back the silver flap exposing the year. If that doesn't work, at least it's between 1838-1860.

Plus, a couple of fired smashed musket balls, one pistol ball, some old buttons, couple of Henry shells, pocket watch innards and a few other old age indicators.

Thanks for looking,
Paul (Ca)

WTG Paul! I think that is a half-dime now!! Nice relics, looks like you are on a hot trail!
HH, Mark

Nice finds Paul. Like the dime. That makes a great conversation peice :hot: You could ponder all kinds of stories around it.

That drawer pull looks cool too.

Thanks Mike,

Dimes aren't that big and as small as this hole is it may be a pistol ball shot? Hard to say, If only this seated dime could talk :)

Thanks again Mike,
Paul (Ca)

Long time no see :) One of these days we'll hookup and use our T-2's.

We got some more seated to dig and Happy fathers day :)

HH, Paul (Ca)

Excellent shot it is, From the size of the hole it appears to be a pistol ball hole.

Thanks again Wolf and happy hunting,
Paul
