can anyone tell me what they think of the Sherlock DTS-PRO metal detector pinpointer probe theres one on ebay im not fimilar with probes just wanna know if its a good probe thanks for any help:minelab:

The Sherlock is a repro of the old Merlin. The Merlin was a great little pocket probe that would last forever. The Sherlock is similar and has a sensitivity knob. Not bad if you can get a good one for under $50. otherwise I'd buy a new one for $99 and have the warranty. You can tweak them to about 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
