Shaved a Barber...

Wouldn't you know the only old coin I found yesterday and I managed to knick it pretty bad - an O-mint no less. Dangit! Sometimes you just can't be careful enough. Still better than being skunked.

Never mind BFCB...

It absolutely is better than being skunked !:smoke:

I did that myself recently on a silver, it was simply done by pressure from me
lifting too hard...

The ground was rock hard, and I levered up too much too close to the base of the coin...

Aahh well, some days are diamond, some days are stone !:|

Good find buddy! Barber shop has been closed for me for quite some time!
Not complaining though. Still getting indians!

Hi Neal,
When are we going to get together and do some finding???

Or maybe just a light trim

STILL a beauty. Who cares about the little nick...at least you rescued it from the ground and now it's in your collection. Nice dig.

Been there done that. I scratched my first indian head penny. Found it next to a curb in hard dirt and wasn't being careful, thought it was a zinc. It happens. Still a great find. WTG!
