Sharp V Nickel And Trifecta / Old Football pin / Old Basket pin / Couple Silver

Well-known member
Finds are from the weekend.
The 1905 V nickel, 1920 Buffalo And The old Flower Basket Pin were pulled from our oldest city park.
Indian head Pennies are 1882,1894.
Nickels are 1905,1920,1940,1951.
Silver dimes are 1929,1964.
Wheat pennies are back to 1910.
The religious medal with the chain gave me 12-33 readings at a depth of 6 inches.
The old football pin was deeper.

I just talked to James and he said he nailed a Barber half for first silver of the year. I just bought myself an E-trac.

wowww....that is indeed a sharp V!!
it hardly looks like it took a dirt nap at all...
you must have some pretty mellow/neutral soil where you hunt....really nice one!

Great finds. Advertising like this will continue to put the E-trac sales up even though it is a older unit. Amazing detector. Only one I have found that can sniff out the best silver U can FInd.

Yes I already heard he got a barber half. Apparently it was a 4 inch coin right by a chain linked fence. Its hard to tell where some of these coins will pop up.
I thought you were a XP Deus Guy now?. Good for you!

The few times I used the Deus I loved it. Was plenty deep and got a silver dime the first half hour using it, but it's so fast the noise drove me nuts. So now to the e-trac.

Nice V man! They may be older like mine is but boy do they find mines made in Ireland! So I know its older how longs the Etrac been made for?

Thanks. I believe Etrac was first released in late 2008. That is when I got mine. It still works but is pretty beat up so I bought a second one last year.

Excellent hunt! It's amazing what city parks still give up from time to time considering how many people have come before...

Nice haul !
