"Sharp" 50 coin day with the Bardman

Leslie(nova scotia)

From the land of the Bluenose.....after running around all day yesterday the honey dew list was depleted...thanks goodness. Weather was super so I called the Bardman and away we went. First stop was a dud but the Bardman keep on a smiling!

Knowing the area having patroled it in the old days I suggested a school/playing field that we should try. This really panned out as no one had hit it before and The Bardman and I began digging in earnst finding coins with just about every second step. Bardman was having a learning curve day as he was using his backup machine which is a Prizm V that he had lent me in the past. Bardman then hit a nice sports token of a Carolina Panther star by the gate.

After a few hours we called it a day and hit Tim's for a light snack and to shoot the bull which is a lot easier for me to do then this quiet unassuming gentleman.

End result for the day was 91 coins at $8.91, the Joe Howe Commerative dollar and a pencil sharpener. I'll let the bardman post his totals for the day.

Here are the two sides of the Joe Howe coin with this side showing the coat of arms of Halifax.

The reverse shows a pony rider.

Glad to see you made it out Leslie...nice haul too !
That commerative coin is a big one compared to the twoone.

Cheers!
