Sharon finally caught a baby painted turtle...

She has been trying to catch one for months. We would walk to the pond at least every other day looking for a small turtle. Today she saw one sitting on a log on the other side of the shallow but muddy cove. She ran with her net along the steep hill, crossed the falling log over the spring, ran through the thick wast high saw- grass and scooped the little rascal up out of the mud. She is sooo happy ~ you'd think she just won the lottery.

The turtle has a healed head injury and is missing his left eye but "Lucky" will be well taken care of in his own cool looking turtle tank.

Good for her,Its nice to see a girl thats not afraid to get Black mud on her hands--My daughter would not even plant a flower and still her husband does all the flower planting, She has her nails done often and thats why she does not Metal detect

... No doubt she snuck up on "Lucky" on his blind side. Wonder if he's suffering from Vernon shrapnel wounds.

Was Sharon real muddy or just arm muddy?
