Hello Everyone! I'm a newbie, but bit the bullet when I bought my first new metal detector and bought the E-Trac. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to help a guy out and share some of you custom modes and patterns. I live in the states in the midwest so modes that have been successful around this area would probably be better for me. If anyone can help I would be most greatful.

The best thing you can do right now is just turn your new E-Trac on and hunt. Don't forget to noise cancel. Good luck and HH :minelab:

Yes, hershey1,sugestion thecyou use the Etrac , with it's default settings is the best way to use it at this point in time. Eventually when you do get used to using the Etrac, you may want to search around this Etrac forum, for past postings , as there are some great patterns that have been shared.

Otherwise try these two other links.

You need to also consider what mode they are going to be run in to suit your ground conditions.

Yes, yes, yes, get some time just enjoying and listening to the machine in default mode. The more you hunt and listen the more you will understand this. Hope you the best.
Don't make a judgement about the Etrac until you have run her for a while, she won't let you down, if there is goodies there you will find them.
