I,ve been offered an explorer s for a good price.
It comes with 'everything', including 2 coils -
a 7" and a 10". Perhaps they all come with 2 coils, but the 10" is described as 'faulty'. I,m not able to
see the detector before I buy, but the deal sounds good.Question :
Whats the most likely fault with the coil - something easy to fix perhaps ? (I,m an electronic engineer by trade).

More importantly, I ask because its 'only' an 'S' and not an 'XS'.
As I,m in the UK the price don't matter much, cos
it wont be in dollar$ !!
As for the 10inch coil, I,m not sure I,d use it.
