shaft stuck on my BH 300

Loosen off the cam lock, get a hammer and gently tap all around the shaft with the hammer handle, not the head. This works best when the sand/silt has dried. Be sure to rotate the shaft and tap all around. The lower rod will begin to loosen and as it does, twist the rod back and forth. If the sand is dry, you will have it loose in less than 30 minutes....

Yeah...do what Pistol Pete said...I had to do this on an AtPro, I'm sure its a similar configuration ...You may need to carefully employ some Channelloks to get the camlocks loose, and you gotta get that shaft to at least turn to get the detent buttons off to the side...30 minutes is a good estimate! You may want to heat the aluminum tube with something to get it expand just a bit...and you also may need to rig up a fixture like this and pound that lower rod out with a dowel and rubber mallet...when all the twisting and turning fails and you got nothing left to lose....A wrench of the right size allows the tube to sit on top of it, and the fibre shaft to pass through...then clean everything up good, including sanding the inside of the tube with the dowel rod wrapped with some fine sandpaper...wax everything with some auto wax, and get rid of the camlocks!
Mud

Don't know if it will help but when mine stuck I sprayed some WD40 and let it soak in a bit and it worked it's way free. Good luck to you
