There were 2 versions made, one for him and one for her so two people could hunt close to each other....Anyone know the two different khz on these machines.
As far as I know there was only one x2. They made an X3,x4,and x5 but Tesoro didn't make them.
If they did make more models, it's new to me.
Sorry I can't help
Almost certain they only produced the one version, most detectors have a slight freq adjustment facility so that one can just nudge it either side of the main operating freq, this allows either 2 detectors to be close together or even when using a pinpointer on roughly the same freq, but as for a 'him and her' version that i have never heard of,but the freq shift facility i have and that is on alot of mid to high end detectors.
Yes, there were two. The other was pink. I have read it was a little "hotter" than the original. Very rare, I haven't seen one on "e-bay" for many years.
The frequency on the Lady X2 was 9.6 kHz and the standard X2 ran on 10 kHz.
To determine which model you have, look at the serial number under the control box. If it has a "B" at the end of the serial number
it is the Lady model X2 running at 9.6 kHz. As far as a pink version I have never heard of one.
I have a Lady X2 in excellent condition with the Troy Pro headphones. If you run across a clean X2 grab it up... they are getting harder to find and the Super 7 coil is a killer coil on coins.
