shadow x2 revisited....

you never see these posted anymore. Or, do they just hang out on the shadow forum?? I owned one years ago and it was a fun little detector and I made some nice finds with it. Went with more bells and whistles but not sure that was a good idea. Anybody on here have one still?? I'd like to hear how you are doing with it. HH. Bob.

I have one since they first came out. Still use it regularly in trashy areas. It's a coin hoover and being a Tesoro, you can beep up anything if you know your machine. Great discrimination and pinpointing. My hunting buddy also uses an X2. Our "other" detectors are Tejons.

I've owned one in the past and it was a fun machine. I made some nice finds with it but then went with a "bells and whistles" machine for a few years. I picked up another x2 for a backup/loaner/competition machine. When the ground thaws I'll take it out and post what I find. Thanks and HH. Bob.

a nice "upgrade" to the silver sabre umax made back then. I like the look and I like the response of the coil. In park environments, I like the coincheck feature.
As a backup and in really heavy iron it really shines. I also use it as my competition machine for the once or twice a year I get to go to one.
Too bad there aren't many posts about it on the forums. I enjoy reading about what people are still finding with theirs. I'll make sure to post my finds come spring. HH to all in 2009. Bob.
