Shadow X2 Owners How many still have one?

Interesting ! I must have the only X2 still working!

I see a few at two different club hunts I attend every year. I have a couple of the Silver Sabre umax detectors that were the base for the X2 and have really enjoyed them. The X2 from what I've seen has a very loyal following and I don't think many show up for sale. I know I'm in no hurry to get rid of my SSumaxes although I wouldn't mind trading one for a clean X2.

I am working on saving the money and also maybe selling my Minelab Musky colt to buy another X2 from a fella that has one I bought one he had that was mint condition the other is darn near mint has scratches on the scuff plate

Hi BarryL, Lol, and nope, you for sure don't have the only X2 still working. I have one that works just fine when I use it now and then, and I would be willing to bet that most if not all the Troy X2's ever made are probably still working just as good as ever, when put to the hunt..Mine is still in great shape,Bought it new soon after they came out and used it regularly for several years. Wound up with 2 "Super 7"'s to go along with the Spider 9" that I use one on some of my other T's. I wouldn't dare part with the X2 and many of those that have, wish they hadn't . I feel it would be something akin to a hunter loosing one of his best coon dogs. Lol, I think you are becoming familuar with the thought! HH, Charlie

I still use mine and would never, under any circumstances, get rid of it. In fact I just bought a 9" Troy coil for it a few months ago. :detecting:
