Settings used for the 8in Sunray Coil

I am currently using the 8in Sunray Coil. My settings are as follows 24 semi auto, gain7, and normal audio. But, I have one question. Should I run the coil on Fast or Deep? I am hunting in a veritable carpet of tabs. I Think the Deep setting is ok where I am hunting because of the greater target separation of the coil, but i'm not sure.
So which option is best

Ken,
I would try the Fast setting along with the settings you mentioned as you have a better change of nailing a good target amonst tabs and other trash which may be very close. The fast setting allows the detector to recover faster between targets. Audio 1 may also be something to try but takes a little getting used to. Vary your sweep speeds and work the coil from different angles. Hope this helps.
