For hunting on the beach and in the water can you tell we what set up you have found to be the best. I will be using the 17 inch coil. Thanks for the help. Jim

Setting for saltwater beaches??????

Wouldn't use the 17 in the water. Open screen, saltwater on.

I use my ctx almost every day on the beach, here's what setting I use:
Turn off auto sensitivity and manually set it to a nice stabile setting, I can set my up to 26 on my beach without the ctx falsing but every beach is different so try what's best on your beach.
Turn "ON" your saltwater mode. Check Recovery Deep and Target Separation on Ferrous Coin.
that's about it.

I suppose however if u can get used to the drag it would be the only problem, deeper targets I'll take any day.

I went to a local beach yesterday and from a previous question attempted to put my Beach mode into sea water. I hit edit but the machine squawked at me so I have no idea where sea water exits. Secondly just wondering if I am only on the dry sand can I set the machine to the coin mode. I heard signals but when I dug I found nothing which Either means I am hearing things are there wasn't anything thing to dig and I was digging everything as I am still in learning mode. My find for the day was one cent . Thank you in advance for any assistance. You all are wonderful in helping!!!
