Got the Explorer back today for the Software Upgrade to Sept. 2000....The Service Report states "There is no newer improved performance Software, Only Adaption "A" Version Software for new vendor type Display L.C.D. Circuit Boards".
Anybody know the scoop on this ?? And what MineLab Machines these "new" Display L.C.D Circuit Boards are in ??????? HH
 
It's for the newer screen that the vendor is supplying... I guess it is a green color....

The only difference is that the newer version(SEPT 2000) is that the display is suppied by a differnt vendor and it has a slight green tint to the display where as the first one had more of a blue tint to them.
I have used both of them and find no other difference in them as far as performance.
