Back in 1945 (I was 7yr.) we used to go in the pasture and sleep under the stars.No blanket ,no cover at all.Sleep on the ground,now this was in summer time.
One night Me my brother and two friends where laying on the ground and looking at the stars,We watched something go across the sky a little bigger then a star,no sound at all.It was not a star,It was moving from South to North.Back then there were no jet or any thing that could go that fast.Even today I still wounder what it was.No it was not a star.Serious, this is true.

very quiet...no sound at all and seemed to be floating and was low! It had flown over or near the Scotts Airforce Base in IL and was seen by policemen at night while driving around in their cruisers! It was seen heading towards our St. Louis Airport but don't remember too much any more about it....but I know what I saw which was huge and dark in shape with I think some lights underneath the triangle thing and many people saw it and it was on the news!

I also saw a huge teardrop looking object low in the sky one day while coming home but no one else seemed to notice it and it sure was glowing in the sunshine but it could have been a space balloon sent out by the gov't or other sources! Don't know for sure what it was as I had not ever seen anything like it before and it sure wasn't a human air balloon that are used to ride in and float through the air...this was long and narrow shaped and stood high in the air but hanging low! I'm not crazy either but do tend for forget things too easily now to describe what I really saw! Ma Betty

summer of 1965 we were camping in a valley north of Salt Lake City between 2 mountain ranges ... pretty much same deal.... sleeping on ground looking at the stars when we saw a very bright object come over the northern mountain range very high and slowly moving across the valley. I remember we thought it might be a plane until it stopped. It stayed at one position for about 2 or 3 minutes then all of a sudden it took off across the sky and disappeared over the south mountain range.
I'll never forget that... it covered about 30 miles in about 2 or 3 seconds.

No I wasn't drinking ... I was 10 yrs old

My Mother, Aunt, brother, sister, and 2 cousins were staying on the Lake one summer. After supper we would all go and sit on the pier until 9 or 10 each night. One night we were sitting on the pier talking and all of a sudden I saw 3 fire balls arranged in a triangle over the water about 100 ft. away. Nobody but my Aunt saw the fire balls and everyone thought we were crazy. The strangest part was that when my Mom looked at here watch, it was 1:00 in the morning. We never stayed up that late. I have no idea what happened but to this day I still believe we saw a UFO.
