Serious Problem with trader - wildycoyote3004

We agreed to cross-ship our detectors to one another. Communication prior to shipment was fine and we agreed to ship same day priority mail with delivery confirmation. when i got home from work on the day I shipped he had sent me an email letting me know he shipped the MXT and asked if my coinstrike was on the way to him . I posted my reply with delivery confirmation # attached and gave him details about insurance etc. however when I asked him for same details as far as the delivery tracking number he told me he was at work that the paper was out in his truck and that he would send the info after he got off work at midnight. At this point I began to get suspicious and asked for a phone call from him he replied that the Boss frowns on that stuff and reassured me that he would send the info . Next morning checked mail no numbered info I attempted to give him a phone call at the number he gave me to his home and was told by the nice lady who answered that there was no Tom at this address. Well when I sent a pretty strong email asking for some legitimate information I was told that he despised people who make snap- judgements and that I needed to trust people. On a side note I have learned a lot about some of my own poor judgement and some steps I failed to take certainly some identity confirmation should have been made . I screwed up and now I am getting screwed this guy is a pure and simple liar and thief. Out one coinstrike unless some actions I have taken can intercept it in time The MXT should have showed up today had he shipped it. I haven't given all the details here about everything thats taken place. As there are still some legal efforts etc I am taking. i need to appeal to the folks here on this forum and the guys who provide it to help me in Identifying this crook. So anyway I will keep you all posted if things develop further. Lessons for all when the TRUTH is revealed.

Was able too contact postoffice at the location I shipped the coinstrike to. The postmaster put a hold on the shipping until I could identify myself and the packaging etc. He sent my coinstrike back to me arrived yesterday and they didnt even charge me to return. They also indicated that the intended recipient had some other similar problems with shippers. Sure learned a lot about trusting my own instincts and taking some specific precautions .

Maybe you should post this guy's name and where he is from so others won't fall to his lies......I have been lucky with the people I have dealt with, the majority here are honest, hardworking people.....John

He goes by the name Tom, His address for shipping is P.L. Willard
PO Box 279
Cave Springs, Arkansas 72718
His email at least one of them is outlaw990@muchomail.com
He is currently posting again in the classifieds here to sell his MXT also on the treasurespot forum posting same thing with a handle of Trailrider1855@yahoo.com
Two days ago he sent me a pm here to request that he would still like to trade his MXT for my Coinstrike . He said he would express overnight the MXT if I was satisfied with it he asked that I send the coinstrike and post some positive feedback here so as to clear his name . I thought about it and decided why not nothing to lose and he could redeem himself . So I pm ed him back agreeing to these terms next day he PMed me again saying MXT + $50 for coinstrike I replied asking him if he got my previous reply Heard nothing I even emailed same thing to him heard nothing and today I saw where he is selling his MXT. I don't understand what this guys doing or up too . Its very strange to say the least.

I have gotten a hold of the folks you purchased the detector from on E-bay they have saved this Deal for both of us... In the future I would suggest being honest in your communications the Detector is not new it is 25 months old but it is not stolen and as far as your credibility well what can we say Tom You know there is no warranty left on the MXT but the machine is lightly used and seems like a good deal. You bought it on E-bay not in Reno so why dont we just say you arent the most honest trader ever to grace Findmall or any other forum. You said you despise people who make snap-judgements. Well I despise people who compulsively lie and manipulate others when telling the truth would be easier. There is still the matter of your undisclosed Identity. I feel that I have been vigilant in my efforts to find out who I am dealing with and its my belief that you are probably TERRY LAMB as that is who many people on treas depo and findmall think you are. They are probably right I hope I was able to help some of them out during this Rocky and Treachurous deal with you. As I have said the coinstrike is new and lightly used purchased from Kellyco at the first of this year. I will be shipping the coinstrike to P.L. Willard po box279 Cave Springs Arkansas 72718. Its ultimate destination is probably to Pam L. Willard 377 N Main Street, Cave Springs, Arkansas. I will ship it out monday morning as I am too disgusted with you to even consider shipping today. Dealing with you has been extremely frustrating and costly to my wallet and to my faith in humanity. phone # is perhaps 479-248-7504 or maybe even 501-248-2513. Probably the first one. For the sake of everyone else who might see this . Some of your Internet aliases are. EBAY USER ID plwilly2004.. email addys Trailrider1855@yahoo.com, Outlaw990@muchomail.com, blindhorse_989@yahoo.com ...bikerdude2004@yahoo.com Forum names .... Outlaw1860....Wildcoyote3004....goldpan2009 and others I am unsure of. So Tom Terry Pam or whoever you are enjoy the coinstrike and I will send delivery confirmation so you can track it till it arrives. Good Luck and we will keep our eye on you. FNDMALL TRADERS BEWARE !!!! This guy is a crook if anyone has lost a detector or money to him contact me and I will help to ensure he doesnt continue his BS. Dave out

I would not send anything to anyone that I wasn't trusting. Either party. Find a neutral party who will accept things.

Guvner..

He tried to trade the coinstrike to me for my CZ3D, but when I asked him for references he backed out and sent me an e-mail saying he decided to keep it.
I did a search for his phone number in Cave Springs, AR and none was listed. Good luck and hope all turns out well.

I had a deal with this guy untill I was warned about him.I knew it was to good to be true.

I almost bought the C$ on the forum last night but was warned about this guy by someone on the forum. During the whole process of trying to make a payment something seemed strange. Thanks guys for the heads up and especially M..

A little more information on this person who claimed to be Pam to me. I bid on the coinstrike on ebay from plwilly2004 not knowing there was any problem. I did not win the bid but received a second chance notice. At that point I was warned by the high bidder who had backed out that this person was probably unreliable. He had been notified by texasdave about this person. I asked a few questions and suddenly the second chance offer was withdrawn. To make a very long story short, this person will flip flop back and fort extending offers and taking them away. Very eager to get your money. In the end this person would not agree to send me the detector for inspection. Would not use escrow.com or anyway I could check out the detector before sending money. I did a little preaching, since I am a pastor, about being dishonest and how much easier it is to be above board. I even offered to post a good report here if I could inspect the detector before sending money but I guess it is very hard for a dishonest person to ever trust anyone else to be honest. My conclusion is don't ever send this person any money before you get the item. And warn anyone else who might fall into this trap. Maybe someday he/she will decide it doesn't pay to be dishonest.

What's up with those "." nt messages?

Very strange...but it demonstrates the connection. All the more reason to stay away from this loser!

I really appreciate Find's as a nice oasis from the madness...let's keep it that way!

Be very suspicious of those who cloud their identity with clever little code names like "biker dude," "outlaw," and "goldigger". These people believe they are smarter than you, with such tricks.

Get a phone number/info and verify with phone calls - to the neighbors. You can use some of the free search services to verify contacts and get these names and numbers.

Get addresses and do the same.

If they "claim" to be at work, or simply as another validation technique, ask the name of their boss, place of employment, etc. and then make a business call to their superiors. If they claim to be self-employed, then ask for their current client and speak to them as a reference. Also ask for references and contact info from former clients.

Ask the cops. I contacted the local law enforcement investigative branch and asked, in one case. I got lucky, they weren't busy at the moment and took the call.

Using a third party escrow service is also a good idea.

There will alwyas be a lot of smokecreens and mirrors, excuses and hassles when dealing with thieves. They work in the shadows, after all, preying on the unsuspecting. Keep your radar on.

But above all else, when dealing with someone on these or other classisfieds - ASK FIRST in the Feeback area! Skunks always smell the same, and people know their stench...

I'm sure he believes that I AM a "jerk idiot" and that his pitiful attempt at goading me is effective (If he only knew what crosses I already bear). I think he was trying to be funny, actually.

Take note of one thing: blackhearts detest it when their cover is blown and the light shines on them. They also seem to be poor grammatists (and, they appear to be masochists, too, as they hang around to absorb the abuse. Probably something from his childhood).

Here's my simple comment:

As I said before, "skunks always smell the same"...

If you haven't already, add 'quickshooter455' to the "Slinking Dogs" list, along with 'truegrit2005'.

Dave, Richard Backwoods Detector Sales here..... I have a person
going by treasurehunter007 wanting to trade me a CS for a new XL Pro..
Have you heard of him.... I don't won't to neccessarily offend any one but I don't won't to get took to the cleaners by Mr. Lamb either..
Thanks Richard Backwoods

You're the dealer Richard with the store so let him send it to you for inspection. Everyone knows you and you aren't about to steal anyone's detector. If he insists on you sending yours at the same moment expect a foul outcome.

Guvner..

Never heard of him Richard .....But in my opinion if he is wanting to do the trade bad enough.....make him send his detector to you. If it arrives as promised then send your end of the deal. If he refuses then your probably better off.
