Yesterday was my wife's birthday, so at dawn I went "shopping" for a present at a local park. Got a target registering 45 on the screen, dug it [sounded less like trash and more like something good], and out came a 14k gold ring with 7 [of 8 possible] green gemstones. Sadly, the ring was somewhat crushed. But the cool thing is that the stones are peridot, which happens to be my wife's birthday gemstone! Sorry, no pix, don't know how.

That's a pretty neat story! Are you going to get it straightened out for her and give it to her? My wife and daughter snatches up any and all jewelry I find.

That is very cool! You can tell her you swallowed the missing stone so you will always have her with you!
