Ser. No. Question

Mine starts with 505 . I bought it a week before Christmas. Still good to go for me:thumbup:

Hi Gene.

Both of mine have the 505 numbers, bought them new 7 months ago in the U K.

No faults,no issues, and both of them work great, but in answer to your question

YES you do have an earlier model.

Have Fun and H H.

mine starts 511, got it a few months back. no problems with it.

Mine starts will 511, but haven't used it yet because I just recieved it yesterday.

Yep, mine is a 511 model too. Thought I was having trouble with it, but it turned out to be a bad connection at the coil plug. Once that got sorted out, all has been great!

Mine is a 515 bought from Kellyco about 2 months ago....it went in for service and was told by Garrett it was one of the newer models.

Thanks much guys, I guess i shouldn't worry, it's hard to tell how long any of them set in storage till they were ordered by the dealer. I just know it's the best detector for trashy areas i've ever owned. It has opened up a lot of old area's I've hunted and made them new again. Thanks again Gene
