Well, after toiling for a few hours at yardwork today, I finally got out this afternoon for 1 1/2 hours at low tide.
"Plan A" was not working too well , so I put "Plan B" into action..heading for a rocky area; found the multi-band gold ring between the rocks...not deep.
On one of the bands is a double hallmark..very difficult to read, but I'm working on it; acid test result : 18 K
Never found a ring like this...I like it; it's not heavy, but I'll take it.
