SEPARATE PIN-POINTER??..............................

John(H)

............................... A lot of people have one................................but.........................................is it really needed?? I have a Sovereign XS. ...Thanks ................Joe

I had the Sunray probe with my Sovereign and loved it. Sold that Sovereign awhile back but have another being delivered to me, as we speak. I WILL be getting a probe for it!! Saves alot of time digging.
It's going to be nice being reunited with a Sovereign......

The Sunray probe is the best for the Sovereign. When I use a hand held with another unit I realise how effective and accurate that in line probe is,I'll always use one of these Sunray probes. If you want to find the old very deep coins you'll need a Sunray probe.

I started off using a hand held pinpointer ,some are better then other's .But then got a sunray prob and if you own a GT or Explorer its the way to go hand's down.....HH.....Hobby

As you see Joe we love our Sun Ray probes and you will too if you get one. I find more good coins each time out with the Sovereign as I can find them fast and spend less time digging and on to the next target. I also find that may times I don't have to dig as I use the Sun Ray probe on the louder signals and just pop them out of the ground with my screwdriver. I find many plug some one has dug and I still get a good signal and when dug out I use the probe to find the target is in the side of the hole. I know of many that will dig a plug out and they don't have a Sun Ray probe and lose the signal and cover up the hole only to leave a good target in the hole, but with the Sun Ray probe you can go into the hole and find the target. I use mine a lot on the deep iffy signals too as I will get close to the target with the Probe while in all metal to know where the target is, the switch to disc and be able to ID it. Now if it is a good one I will dig carefully so I don't hit it as i know exactly where the target is.
The Sun Ray probe is a very important tool on my Sovereign and would be lost without it.
