Sep 2006 W&E - Another B Ladd story made it :)

Especially since they always get to Germany before Rhode Island :)Regulars of this forum will probably remember that story pretty well.....(One of my 1st multi-picture posts of foundation # 1 w. big center hearth in 2006).

Our local book store recently changed owners and they discontinued the entire line of treasure magazines from the shelf, Now I'm not up to speed with who's finding what and missing out on test reports on selected models and worse yet missing Bills articles.

I guess I'll need to subscribe, Maybe I can pick up this magazine on the classifies.

HH, Paul (Ca)

on the classifieds who after reading their mag for the month offer to send it to someone else. I think that's a great gesture & I would do the same, but I have a huge collection of treasure magazines & only trade duplicates....
As far as my stories, your not missin' much ;) The latest story is basically a longer version of the posts I have been making here this year....The theme of this was "progress" (or that a great site is due to be bulldozed under a new neighborhood).
HH, Bill
PS. Might try the T2 today if the heat is not too bad....

Sad to say that progress sucks! I've seen so many old fairgrounds from the 1800's along with old school properties disappear forever to subdivisions over the past 20 years. It just about makes a detectorist wanna cry :(
Excellent article. When is the small coil article coming out??

I know what your sayin about progress....one of our favorite wooded areas that we had been hunting off & on was falling to half-million dollar homes. So, I got alotta friends together on a "rescue mission" as the dozers got close......
Perhaps W&E will use the story on their web site for promotional purposes for those that don't get the magazine....
My local book stores now only get "Gold prospector" (which really is dumb seeing there's no gold in New England).
We were hoping the small coil test would make this issue, but I guess next month hopefully.......
