Sent out my Secret Santa gift a few minutes ago

Since I would appear to look so much like people's idea of Santa Claus - since the first snow up here - I have been wearing a Santa hat. I am glad to see the smiles on the faces of not only children but even senior citizens and others in between. They wave too. On my Santa hat I have a pin that says "I Love Jesus". Have gotten compliments about the pin and also most people I have wished a Merry Christmas to said Merry Christmas back. Glad there are more that haven't fallen into the Happy Holidays replies. (Haven't heard anyone say that yet).

Was just thinking if I said Merry Christmas to someone and they said Happy Holidays back I might have to reply and yes have a happy easter and I hope the easter bunny brings you plenty of eggs and candy. That is 'a holiday' - or maybe Happy Cinco De Mayo to you too. Another holiday.

It is bright and sunny up here today. Our lake is covered in the white stuff.

Lots of things to do here and at my Dad's but don't think much is going to be accomplished. Am glad though I got out the Secret Santa gift. I am sure the receiver of it will enjoy the gift. God bless.

we could not get insurance on the sleigh this year. Having moved to an area where there are 'so many deer' and 'car deer accidents' the cost was prohibitive. Even when asked 'how many of those deer fly that I would be likely to run into?' they would not reduce the costs. In fact they are thinking of raising the costs now because now they know there are flying 'rein'deer in the area and they figure they can collect even more money from the local airports and pilots of small planes.
