My detector , that is. It quit this morn , I checked the batts - all ok. New coil & cable. The on-off switch has been hard to turn lately- maybe it went out. Anyway, I checked everything I could and decided to send it back to be repaired. Good time to do so - with the high temps.
I'll use my 1280 water machine on land till it returns, steve in so az

I had aways thought one of the detectors I wanted (among many) was the Fisher 1280x. Maybe one of these days I will add one to my arsenal.

We're supposed to have scattered thundershowers here from now til Tuesday. Sure hope we do because we need the rain - running out of playground bark to dig in

Sorry to here that Steve mine quit working on the speaker but I use headphones mostly so Ill wait till winter to send it in.

I always keep tape over my speaker to keep junk out. Never use it, only phones, steve

Well i do mostly but when Im at a spot where there is bear sign I like to use the speaker so the bears will hear me and hopefully I will hear tme coming to eat me!
