we have quite a few 100 year old parks in my town, yesterday i met an old timer at one of these parks he had an exp.xs like me and we shot the s--- for awhile he says he always runs his sens. between 10 and 16 manual these parks have the typical trash found in all city parks my question is arent you losing dept running the sens that low? thanks for the input a newbie.

Are you sure he wasn't talking about running the Iron mask at -10 - -16?I see he said manual so he must have meant sens.Sounds mighty low to me.I bet he is running it like that so he gets a threshold at all times.

Maybe he doesnt want to dig real deeeep <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> is there lots of iron at the sites? and yes he is losing depth if the area is clean of iron, I dont even run that low at cellar holes, but have seen where lower sens does do better in high iron...

or this oldtimer dont want you to dig the deeper coins dont do what he wants you to do you will get all new coins LOL
