Sensitivity knob

Rob (IL)

New member
Do the knobs on the CZ5 or CZ3D just pull off or they held on some way? I bump the sensitivity knob when I put it down and it changes. I would like to put an O ring under it so it doesn't turn as easily.

If you don't want to take the knob off a small rubber band twisted a few times will fit around the knob and do pretty much the same thing. Let us know which way you go.

Thanks, I'll look a bit closer. All help is appreciated.

When the knob is set in the4 off or full counter-clockwise position, the set screw should be at the opposite side of the indicator on the knob. Or at the bottom.
If you see no allen set screw, the knob should pry off with a "little" pressure from a flat blade screw driver under the knob...Be careful not to scratch the face plate

HH,

Every CZ I ever owned had a super tiny allen screw. A word of caution watch what you put under it to make it tight as too much pressure may or may not alter the lifespan of the knob switch.

Guys all your advice is appreciated. As soon as I dig the detector out of the RV I will check it out.
