Sensitivity Excaliber 2

Just wondering suggestions for sensitivity with Excal 2. Should I stay at about 6, or better in Auto. I search mostly fresh water. I have suggestions for both. Thanks!! Des in Buffalo

I have been using disc at 3 and sens at 6 all year and last monthe got 22 gold rings most of which were under 2 grams. They were very slight signals but repeatable. Higher sens just dosn't seem to do better. I am also hunting fresh water.

I'll have to say in auto it's alright. Just out of auto past the click just didn't do it for me either. Got no depth. Ran it back to about 6 on the sensitivity and you better have a big long scoop to dig the holes, they should be deeeeeeep if the stuff is there. In pinpoint, all metal you need a backhoe......... I have gotten used to switching back and forth while hunting. Hunt the area in disc then go back over it in pinpoint.
