I have had my xs for 2 yrs now when i run my sens in manual at 32 i get no chatter or on the screen the crosshairs dont go crazy. I have several friends of mine that have the same xs and they cant run their sens in manual at 32 because they get so much chatter so they have to lower it Is my machine just a fluke or what??? Thanks for the help and H.H.
 
You might try an air/ground test with your friends,with both machines using as high of manual sens as possible without chatter in the same location and maybe in the same spot.Which goes deeper?Yours, no problem. Theirs, if it's a large differance change coils with your friends if that makes no differance then CALL Minelab at 702-891-8809 and maybe send it in to repair.
