Sennheiser wireless earphones without delay :bouncy:

Hi there, I have bought the new wireless earphones from Sennheiser (MX W1-C), that uses the brand new Kleer technology instead of Blue tooth. And the good news is, they work fine, with no delay at all!
Bad news is: They are expensive, you have to change batteries in the earplugs after 3 hours (button cell rechargeable) and you will have to solder in 2 Resistances in a jack plug, because the impedance between the transmitter and the detector makes a high pitch noise. But having fixed this (takes 10 min. and cost only a few bucks in parts) they work just perfect!
I have learned to live with the delay of Blue tooth, because I just hate the cord tangling around everything, but it sure is better with NO delay, even if i have to stop and change batteries after 3 hours. The transmitter will work for about 10 hours before it runs out.
Name of the wireless earphones: MX W1-C
I have attached a photo of the soldering job you have to do in a jack plug to make it work ;)

If you can live with the delay that comes with Blue tooth, I can recommend the also cheaper Plantronics pulsar 590A both transmitter and headphones work for more than 10 hours on a single charge, and you can use them with your mobile phone at the same time. You just hit one button to switch between detector and phone, when the phone rings :)

All the best

In my opinion having to change the batteries every three hours is a small price to pay than having that demonic umbilical cord in your way.

Have you tried these on the SE?

How expensive? I don't like earphones. They never stay in on me. Can u post a pic of the earphones please. Some types are better than others. The ones with a clip that hook around your ear seem to stay on better because don't forget we are bobbing our heads up and down all the time.

You are not talking about these are you? $500

I guess that umbilical cord is not so bad after all.

I use mine with the Explorer SE, and they work just fine. Yes I am talking about the ones you link to, and yes they are expensive, but so is the Explorer SE?
Best reagards
