sendind 1942 error off to be graded need help

I want to send the 1942 dime off to be graded and dont want to make any mistakes before i send it off.Any suggestions would be appreciated on where to send and what not to do before sending. Thanks charlie

Well my opinion is. PCGS & NGC. are the top 2 grading places to go to. but i have heard some people get there coins back, they say that it was found in the dirt and they can tell if it was cleaned. i know of one person who sent there's to ANACS. and got there's back graded. but if i were u i would go to a local coin dealer, and ask them what to do. But DO NOT SELL IT.. until u know the grade and what it is worth. i have been collecting coins for awhile. and that is a very!!!! rare find.

I sent my 1916D to ANACS and it was a smooth transaction.....did you ever find out for sure if it is a 42 over 41? Did you post closeups? I have been looking but did nto see any
