Semi-Key date.......Barber

I went out yesterday to an old railroad site close to where I work. I found several reasonably cool items, among them this 1892-S Barber Dime. Actually, it was the last thing I found, and while walking back to my car. I'm sure glad I left my MXT on.....

Looking on the PCGS website I see it is fairly rare. It has a crust of something all over it, so I left it uncleaned. I have no idea how much detail it will or won't have once it's clean, but I don't know what to do with it. If I clean it, it will be worthless. If I don't, it will look like crap.

Any suggestions??
