In response to "liquidating your finds"
I am a computer tech/detectorist in Mid-Michigan. There was a post referring to a scrap dealer in MI. I will tell you first hand, you will find "no one more reputable. I sold approx $2000 in scrap jewelery to them, I weighed everything with my own scales first, just to make sure i was being treated honestly. There are definitely no hidden fees or charges and they pay 94% spot. The best price I have found anywhere. By the way, I have personally met with Gary and I am now his computer technician too. You will not find a more honest scrap dealer!! Even though he assured me I could insure and mail my gold, I personally drove it down to him. Beware of companies with "hidden charges". Hope this helps some of you guys out. He also told me he has had several calls from the East Coast Detectorists who sell to him regularly, so maybe you can get input from them. Give Gary or Candi a call and I am sure they can provide you with names of references of some of them. Anyone interested --
