For Sale: Ten year accumulation of dug relics from Missouri camps and battle sites. Also includes some items purchased to add to my collection. There are at least 3500 bullets in shot or drop condition. Pictures show only a small portion of the bullets collected. Have a 3" ten pound Parrott shell, as well as a six pound solid shot. Numerous shell fragments and canister. Both iron and lead. All the iron fragments had gone though electrolysis and sealed to remove rust and preserve the relics. Have a hundred dollar confederate bill. Have a book signed and dated that was carried during the Civil War. It's a German book on battle tactics. Have a black powder Colt Army repo revolver. The best non dug relic is an 1842 Springfield .69 cal. smoothbore musket in working/relic condition. All original except for the ramrod. It is a battlefield pickup from the Battle of Lexington, Missouri, fought in 1861. The musket is stamped with an 1846 production date, so it probably was used in the Mexican War, as well. Have a bayonet that fits the musket. I'm moving to a much smaller home and have no room to display my collection, so I think it's time to let someone else enjoy it. Will only sell the collection as all or nothing. Will not piece it out. Selling for $2500. Pick up only. No deliveries. Price is firm. Will be glad to answer your questions, but serious inquiries only. Thought I would give the members of this forum first opportunity before selling it elsewhere. Thanks for looking,
