Champion Hill was one of the 1st places I started hunting in back in 85'. It was close and we spent about 2 years running around there. We even got to hunt in front of the Coker House back then when McCarty Holman owned it and stored egg cartons in it. I worked for McCarty-Holman at one time. We dug some fine stuff from that battle back in the 80's and 90's. Been all up and down Billy FIelds and Champion Hill rd. Ah those were the good days and hardly anybody knew what relic hunting was.
