Just bought a new ETRAC and was wondering how you all liked the SEF coils ? I would like the 6x8 coil. Anybody use that one. Much appreciated !!!

Goes4ever uses it...most of the time if I recall correctly. He is one of the gurus on the etrac...TTF mode...8x6 SEF ...finds coins that most of us dream about....also a moderator. He will chime in once he see's your post. Had some great info and instruction and his own website...the whole shebang. Best of luck with your new etrac....I am sure enjoying mine, and the wealth of knowledge on this forum will shorten your learning curve big time!

Yep I use the sef 6x8 quite a bit at trashy sites and farm fields, absolutely love it, it performs like a laser in trashy areas and worth every penny!
 
I also use and like the 6X8 SEF. It has got good depth and works in trashy areas very well. The X-5 Sun-Ray is not to be overlooked either. HH :minelab:
 
Yes, I have the 10x12, and the 6x8. I use the 10x12 most of the time and the 6x8 in the trash. Like the others stated the 6x8 with TTF is a deadly combo.

I have 5" - 4.5" x 7" and 10" x 12" SEF Coils - their fantastic !
