SEF Coil cable length

Before I buy this coil SEF 10x12 for my Sovereign GT I want to know how long is the cable. And I want to make sure it will reach my chest mount. The cable on the stock 10" is 72"long
Does anyone know for sure (Any drawback on using the SEF coil at the beach) anything will be appreciated

I just measured my SEF 10x12 Butterfly coil cable for a prospective buyer. It measured about 62". I hope this helps you. HH. Matt

Thanks HH it's 10" shorter I guess they want you to buy a cable extention now. Sounds like something Harley Davidson does

Matt - Only 62" on your coil? The cable length of both my 10" x 12" and 12" x 15" SEF coils are about 92". Ron - They are great at the beach (NJ beaches).

Wow we have some difference here. I'm wondering how old is your coil and Matts coil. ???? Why such a difference

I don't have a 10x12, but the cable on my 12x15 SEF is 98".

the earlier SEFs had the shorter cables. Ive got two of them and both are longer like Matts. And they do work great

I have the 10x12 on my GT chest mounted,no problems with cable length.

Bought the coil 2 months ago ,for NJ beaches,find it very stable,deep and lighter then original coil.

Sprayed bottom of coil with 3 coats of bed liner.
