SEF 12 x 10 vs SEF 15 x 12

Hey Guys, I've stalked the forum for a while and appreciate the information and time everyone puts into this.

I'm located in CT and have the opportunity to hunt a house built in the early 1700's and thought I would purchase a larger coil for my etrac to try and get as much depth as possible so that I'm able to take advantage of everything this site could potentially offer. I'm not sure how trashy it will be but I'm leaning toward the larger 15x12 coil due to it's size but I would value any opinions that people have on it's performace. I realize it may be heavy but any other advice you could offer between this and the 12x10 would be appreciated.

I may buy the 8x6 as well due to the positive feedback expressed here.

Thanks,
Digdug

Some people just love the SEF12X10 vs the stock 11" Procoil. I personally would add the 8X6 and maybe a Sun Ray X-5 and just keep and use the stock 11" Pro Coil. The larger coils are great if you work large open fields, but I prefer the smaller coils as most places that I hunt. The larger coils, 15X12 and bigger, are just not practical overall for me, but they have a place if you need them.

I put the 15 x 12 SEF on my E-trac this last summer and pretty much left it on while hunting many parks and yards at older homes. If you saw my posts, you know I cleaned up this past year.

Yeah, the sef coils are awesome.

I received both Coils today exactly 1 week after ordering them. Just an fyi since there have been some messages posted regarding the turn around time on the SEF coils.
