He went out in the backyard with his buddy and I gave them instructions as to where my coin garden used to be. (I never buried a silver dollar with a mercury dime attached to it..) Anyway they ran that over for quite a while, dug my shotgun shells, newer coins, etc. up and then went over where I had a load of dirt brought in to slope the water away from the house. Not sure why this was there or if it was just there all along but about 7 inches down they got themselves a 1923 Peace dollar and a 1919 Merc in their very own glory hole. Talk about excited... I was in the front yard covering up where I had a tree taken out late last year with dirt when I heard the screaming. The wife is asking if I ever buried a silver dollar with a merc dime and I'm going not me. What did they find?
Well here it is...

Incidentally I have the machine working fine but the discriminate icon stays on 6 even though I can change it to a different number as I push the up and down numbers. The sensitivity icon goes up and down with the arrows and the corresponding number. The little guys took right to the Sun Ray probe and know how to use it. Nice to have guys who have the time to test all this equipment out...
Guvner..
