Seeking Finds Logging software programs

Pete in MI

New member
I am downloading whatever I can. Trying to find what would be suitable for me. Many years ago I ran across a logging program that rocked. Don't have, don't know where to find it or even the name of it. It not only kept track of the finds as category of how many of each coin, but had areas in it to keep track of site locations (with pics one could add), info on the detectors used (with pics being able to be added. and so much more.

Since I couldn't find it I resorted to Treasure Journal. Worked great - no pics though - but then I can't get it to run on any of my computers anymore.

I looked at a couple that though they add pics of the find -= they would take me forever to keep up entering each and every item, entering all the data about that one item and adding the pic of just one item at a time. Nice program but not the one for me

I have found one that just keeps track of quantity of each and keeps a yearly total - but doesn't give any place to say where anything was found. Again not what I was looking for.

Anyone having a great program I could check out I'd like to give it a shot. Also looking for something to fit on my PalmOne Zire31 handheld computer.

Please let me know - or even email the program to me at:
coinshooter@owly.net - or let me know where I can download it from.

Thanks all.

http://www.whiteselectronics.com/miscaccw.php Here a link to White's web site. Maybe this program will be whats your looking for!

I found this same (?) i-detect program on line as a trial but not from Whites.

The trial version seems pretty good - 14 day try-out version.

Did Whites buy this from the Ginkgoware, com people or is it being sold by both? Realize this trial was made a couple years ago.

on Garland Road up in the Dallas area in the 1970's? I still have some of their newspaper type magazines that they published. I keep thinking that the man that ran the place was Ray. Small world if this is the same place. I bought my first metal detector, a Garrett Master Hunter BFO from the Garrett factory there in Garland, Texas. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

think Garland was also listed and yes the owner was Ray Smith. If you check the old issues of NTHL you have look under the distributors listings and you will see a SSgt. Thomas Peters - that's was me back then. My articles were penned under that name as well as Pete Peters or Thomas 'Pete' Peters.

I still wonder to this day where Ray Smith is and how he is doing. You are right - small world. Check the years between 1971 to 1976 for any articles I had written.

I heard this a few years ago on one of the Forums, but could not confirm it. Kelley (Texas) :)

thanks Kelley for the info.
